Cloth Diapering

**secondaryPULSE**

I saw on a post you replied to the other day that you linked Alva Baby diapers. I'm really interested in getting some but I just wanted a little more information about them. I know they say they are AI2's but do the inserts snap in like Grovias or are they just placed in like Thirsties? Is the one liner that it comes with enough to absorb or do you often double up? I love my Grovias and BGs, but I'm still working on a stash and I'd rather go cheaper if they are comparable. Thanks so much for your input!

  • Thank you so much! Yea, I clicked on their blog to see if I could find more info about the diapers and I kind of deduced that their English wasn't the greatest. I really love the cow print one (we have the Britax carseat with Cowmooflage) so I'm excited to order some. Thank you for your help!

  • Ditto what PP said - all their diapers are pocket diapers, even though they say either AI2 or AIO. I did find though that their sizing isn't consistent. You'll see some of their diapers have more square tabs, those are cut differently (smaller) than the ones with rounded tabs. I bought one of each initially (not actually realising there would be a sizing difference) and the round tabs fits my LO real funny, so much so that I don't use it at all.

They also have bamboo diapers, they are more expensive, but I much prefer them. Those are lined with bamboo, plus it comes with two bamboo inserts - the bamboo is more absorbent and trimmer, plus I like the idea of natural fibres against LOs bottom.
