HI ladies,
I am due november 4. I went in at 5 weeks 5 days to have an early US because of some cramping and the US tech saw a gestational sac and maybe a yolk sac. My uterus is tilted back so its really hard to see anything per the US tech. So my question is....have any of you ladies had an early US and then the repeat show progression? The US tech said its normal with what my US showed or didn't show but I can't help but worry. I have my repeat at 6 weeks 5 days.
Thanks in advance ladies
Re: question
Hi! My first u/s showed that I had a tilted uterus too, and we only saw the gestational sac when I had just turned 6 weeks. I didn't get to have another until I was 9 weeks, but the uterus ends up not being a problem, and I got to see my baby with a heartbeat. I'm sure you'll see growth too, and everything will be fine.
And, I'm not sure if you know, but the tilted uterus doesn't cause any problems once the little peanut is at about 8 or 9 weeks and is a little bigger... and doesn't cause any problems in L&D... just makes it harder to conceive. (and you already made it past that! yay!)
Thank you so much for answering my question. Im a nervous wreck and Friday can not get here fast enough for my repeat US.
I was told that a tilted uterus doesn't cause any problems just makes it harder to conceive like you said. It explains why it took us 19 months to conceive.
