Anybody conceive on a day you thought was non-fertile?

Hi ladies, DH and I have a 13 mth old who was not planned. I wasn't really keeping a close eye on my fertile times and was pretty surprised we conceived since we weren't actively trying. Now we are planning on TTC starting in a few months. I'm keeping track of my fertile times, but was curious about whether anyone accidentally got PG on a day you thought was "safe" Tia!

Both times.

With #1, I was charting but we missed a bunch of days in a row due to illness. I had sex 5 days before O so figured I wouldnt get pregnant. I did.

With #2, I wasnt tracking when I was O'ing, but my cycles were somewhat regular and I was on CD30 so I assumed AF was due any minute. We also used the withdrawal method as birth control so I thought I was safe from that too. 2 weeks later I got a bfp.

With DS2 I conceived 3 days before my period- and normally my fertile days are 10/11! I charted to conceive DS1, So I really had no idea how that happened so late in the cycle. AND I was on the pill... I gave up trying to figure it out and figured it's just meant to be.

Yes, I was TTA when we conceived #2. I wasn't charting or anything. I avoided having sex during the week I thought I would ovulate, but it turns out I O'ed about 10 days later than I thought I would.

It was NBD for us though, since we were going to start TTC within the next month or so anyway.

This pregnancy was a surprise. I was charting only to track my cycles because they suddenly were getting very long (50+ days), we weren't TTC yet. FertilityFriend said I had ovulated so 9 days later we didn't use protection in the heat of the moment, and figuring we were probably in the clear. Guess it was just meant to be

Yup these twins, we were planning to start actively trying this month. I ovulated almost 8 days late, but we're very happy about it.

Well yes. Since I had had baby #3 I was charting and was consistently Oing between CD22 & CD25. So I figured cutoff for sex should be CD15 just to be safe. Well, the month we got pg I Oed on CD18, we had had sex on CD14. I knew pregnancy was a possibility at that point & here I am. Baby girl #3 on the way!

I didn't necessarily think it was "non-fertile", but it was 6 days before O, so I didn't really think I'd get a BFP that month (for DD2)!

Well, I knew it was a possibility (I had stopped nursing DS and was waiting to get my period back, so couldn't chart or anything). But I thought the probability was pretty low that I would get pregnant the very first time I ovulated since we rarely have actual, completed intercourse, but apparently I did!

Kind of. I had just had DD, got my first pp AF 5 weeks after the birth, then got my second AF 24 days later. I naturally have a 24 day cycle, but I thought that was a fluke, that I couldn't be going back to that cycle so exactly right after the birth. SO 24 days after that when I didn't get a third period I did a test and got a BFP. We were shocked.
