2nd Trimester

How many?

How many of you have a tilted/tipped uterus? I was told by an u/s tech at the ER a couple years ago that I had one. No doctor has ever told me that I do though. I freaked myself out though earlier thinking that I did and I read about tilted uterus' and the issues that can happen during pregnancy.

Does anyone on here have one and did your pregnancy turn out okay?

Re: How many?

  • Yeah, I've heard that it is pretty common. I read earlier that if it doesn't correct itself by 12-15 weeks or so that it could cause a miscarriage. I don't know if that is entirely true though.

  • I had a tilted uterus at the beginning of my pregnancy and it corrected itself around 14 or 15 weeks. It's really pretty common. Most do correct themselves in the second trimester.
    Little one is here.
  • I don't have one (at least I've never been told I have one), but know many women who do. They've all done just fine with their pregnancies :)

  • I know that mine was tilted during my pregnancy with my son. I'm not sure if it corrected itself or not, but I had no problems at all. It's a totally normal variation.
  • Mine tilts left.  And honestly the only complication was with early ultrasound/checkups it was harder to find my cervix, but once I was big and baby was big everything lined up and there were no complications with the delivery.
