It's "supposed" to, but according to the What To Expect e-mail I just finished reading, it probably won't do anything to your uterus, but it could cause diarrhea.

Raspberry Leaf Tea isn't supposed to bring on labor (Although I have heard some people claim it does). It is supposed to help shorten the length of your labor and prevent complications.

This. It will in no way bring on labor, though some people think it will. Some people believe it will help with a shorter labor by strengthening your uterus beforehand. It wont cause contractions or bring on labor, but might strengthen and tone your uterus. I drank it when pregnant with #1. It tastes ok, and never gave me diarrhea, but I also had a 30 hour labor, so not sure it helped with my labor length either. IMO, it's one of those things that wont hurt if you want to try!

Ditto. It's also supposed to help shorten the time you bleed postpartum and some women swear it also helps them with menstrual cramps. I personally like the taste and have been drinking it for a while.

All of the above. It does not bring on labor, nor is it SUPPOSED to. It is recommended by some midwives and healthcare professionals, to strengthen and tone the uterus, in order to prepare for labor. I don't think it tastes bad at all, and have drank it in all of my pregnancies (several or more times per week).
It just tones your uterus, or that is the advertised effect. Some people say you can drink it the whole time. I've only been drinking it in the 3rd trimester. It just tastes like tea. I have been having a cup every evening for the past few weeks. Can't hurt, and it might help!
I drank a ton of it when I was pregnant with DD and I have to say it worked. I did drink a ton of it starting at about 20 weeks. I bought loose tea in bulk and brewed a quart of iced tea a day. So it was much stronger than if you just used your standard tea bag. I also started taking EPO at 37 weeks. Between those two, I was able to get my first baby out after 6-8 hour of labor. All of those contractions were completely manageable. Actually the contractions looked like they were coming frequently but were not that strong on the monitors when I was actually in transition because moments later I was ready to push. And I only had to push for about 10 minutes.

I found mine at Safeway, it's an organic Raspberry leaf tea ( I think it's on sale right now too)
