For those TTC . . .

Just a piece of friendly advice since I've seen many of you are TTC or may begin soon - try to tone your abs and back muscles a bit if you haven't already. Don't make the same mistake I did. I went back to looking like I did pre-pregnancy pretty quickly after my last pregnancy, but never really toned the muscles at all since I got pregnant again 2 months after giving birth. Man, I am really paying for it now! My muscles are all soft and are trying to support this big belly now, which makes me so sore by the end of the day that I am laid out flat on the couch at 8pm every night. Everything is a little harder this time, especially holding Saoirse and pushing the stroller around every day. [Note to self: Create time machine so I can go back 1 year and not move into a house at the bottom of a hill!]

  • It's so much more exhausting the second time around isn't it. You have a LO to take care of and you can't always rest. And holding LO especially towards the end is challenging. Hang in there. You're almost there and then you have a new set of challenges. Cool
