This morning and the night before I've had this ache in my hips when I try and sleep. The pain feels like I walked ten miles and they're sort of restless if that makes sense. I tried putting a pillow between my legs and when that didn't work I tried laying on a pillow so maybe the softness would be easier on my hips but that didn't work either. The only way they stop hurting is if I lay on my back and I know its not recommended to do that for a long time either. Have any of you ladies had this problem and if so have you found anything that relieves the pain or at least eases it (that doesn't include taking something)?
Re: Hip pains while sleeping?
Thanks I'll have to try that! I hope it works
I have had this pain for weeks now. I have to flip sides frequently during the night. I also sleep with a pregnancy pillow and lots of other pillows. Nothing works very well.
The last week or so it has been so bad that I have taken to sleeping sitting up in bed. I stack my pregnancy pillow and about 4 other pillows up behind me and sleep sitting up. Normally this would be horribly uncomfortable, but it provides some much needed pressure relief for my hips. An hour or two sitting up and I can go back to one side or the other for another hour or two.
I have this. I still have the pain. It helps sometimes but it just isn't enough anymore.
