anyone have lowish BP?

instead of it being "a little higher than normal while pregnant, esp with a multiple preganncy"?  just curious.

im usually between 104-107 over 60-70ish.  my non-pg BP is normally low as well, but i thought it would increase, especially with a multiple pregnancy.  sometimes it will be 117 or something but that's only if they take it right after ive had coffee.

Re: anyone have lowish BP?

  • My BP is typically around 90/60. When I was pg, it went up slightly to 100/70 until the very end when I got pre-e. Then, of course, it skyrocketed. I think it's normal.

  • Mine has been around 110 over 60 which is lower for me.  Its usually right at the 120 over 80 mark.  Better than high I guess, the doctor said it was good.

  • Mine has been just a little higher than pre-pregnancy. Normally I am in the 100/60 range, and it's been about 110-115/60-70 since pregnancy. It was 111/65 on Tuesday.

  • Mine was 90/60. I got put on procardia, which is a bp med, to stop contractions. Luckily my bp hasn't lowered much since I started the meds.Mine now is high 80s to low 90s over high 50s to low 60s.

  • I was usually in the 100/60 neighborhood pre-preg and have been there again during the 3rd tri.  It actually got lower (mid 80's-90's/50's) during the 2nd tri and I was so dizzy all the time.  I don't understand how I can have such low BP with so much fluid retention in my fingers and feet, but there it is!

so im sure they checked this, but you dont have a low hemoglobin issue right?  when mine was in the 80s they found that my level was 9.8 (that was at 24 weeks)

  • My blood pressure is naturally low (although in the normal range), and it rose up to normal when I became pregnant. Since it has lowered a bit again, but doc says it's nothing to worry about as long as there are no other problems. I was looking for some info on this the other day (low blood pressure + pregnancy) and hardly found anything at all..
