4 week old's schedule

We wake our B/G twins every 3 hours during the day to feed (9am, 12, 3, 6, 9) and then at night, they typically go 3.5 to 4 hours in between feedings.

Our son is pretty alert after some of the feedings, but our daughter never is.  She even eats with her eyes closed most of the time.

Just wondering A: your schedules at this age and B: if you have a lazy twin as well ;)

  • Eat, sleep, poop, repeat.  : )  You just need to follow their lead and keep them on the same schedule of eating and sleeping.

  • I don't have twins yet, but with my son we started a eat, play, sleep routineduring the day around 6 weeks to help him sleep longer at night. It worked- he was STTN at 10 weeks.  He would only stay up for maybe 30 min.s or so at that age but it helped him have a more consistent awake/sleep schedule.
