I'm sure some of you read about my jump rope fiasco with Iz on FB, that's what I've been doing (jumping rope, not busting her face). I haven't been doing it every day, sore calves make it hard to do every day but I'm trying to stay consistent.
I told J that I want to order P90X, the infomercial is very persuasive.
QOTD: Motivation is hard for me, I usually run low on it but when I am motivated it's because I want to look sexy, be able to keep up with the kids, and just feel good.
I'm doing okay, but gained a few pounds in Feb (visitors and my birthday threw things off). For me motivation come from wanting to stay in my new (smaller) clothes and within my (now normal for the first time as an adult) BMI. I feel good eating my current foods. I do want to start working out more and that's my March priority.

So far so good! It feels good to be off sugar and tracking my calories again. I talked my mom into going to a couple of Crossfit try-it classes next week - I'm really hoping I like the gym and can do that for a couple of months solid before the babies come. If not, I'll join my mom's rec center - it has great facilities.
My motivation is (a) how it makes me feel and (b) the hope that it will stave off some of my familial heart disease and kidney disease. I want to live a long time!
I've had a mixed week, but overall, it's been positive. I ate TONS of whole foods while C was gone last week. I tried Ezekiel bread and tortillas and liked both, tried out natural peanut butter again and haven't died yet (I'm a little addicted to the sugar and oil filled kind), and have been eating a ton of produce. I've found a bunch of green smoothie recipes that I've had fun experimenting with. I'm only a pound or so from being back out of the 200s for the first time in a year.
My motivation is pretty much to not get diabetes, or at least to stave off getting it for as long as possible. All four of my grandparents were type 2 diabetics, and so was my dad. In my late 20s my fasting blood glucoses were consistently in the high 90s (100 is the cutoff for pre-diabetes) and it was a big wake up call that I needed to take better care of myself if I didn't want to be a diabetic by 40.
Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm. I am 35 and carrying. Endometriosis and DOR. AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish
