    ::looks down at the ground sheepishly:: lol. Thanks. Quite unexpected considering how long it took us to conceive Layla and our fertility issues-so we thought. The crazy looks have started already. I went for my confirmation appt today and I was asked how old DD was. Insert raised eyebrows after I told them.

    Screw them!

    You're now the second "wow, we had fertility issues, had a kid and got KU right away again" stories this week.

    Its awesome - gives me hope :)

    Congrats!

     

    I always heard you are the most fertile during the year after you have a baby. Just in case this is true, I will continue to run screaming from DH! 

    I know a lot of people who had fertility issues (especially Unexplained Infertility), finally got pregnant, and their hormones seem to have been regulated by the pregnancy and their next one was a surprise/easy. Two of my friends had this happen after IVF for their first child (both within a year of their first).

    BFP1: DD1 born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
    BFP2: 3/18/12, blighted ovum, natural m/c @ 7w4d
    BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence

    I don't think it's crazy, there are already 14 May moms from this group (now more active on FB) who are expecting and a whole lot more who are TTC now or sometime soon.  Can't be too crazy, lol.  Congratulations!
