We've been supplementing with formula since DS was 2weeks due to supply issues. I would just throw poopy dipes into the pail and then into the wash with no problems. He's 3months now and my supply went from small to nonexistent when he started STTN so he's only on formula now. His poops aren't anywhere near solid or "plopppable" but they aren't runny either, more like creamy peanut butter (TMI?). I've been scooping some of it off the dipes before putting them in the pail but I really don't know what I'm supposed to do: scoop, spray, or straight in to the wash as-is? Anyone have experience with this?

DD is ff and I've always just thrown her diapers in the pail then straight into the wash with everything else. Her poops didn't really change though when we went from bm to formula. Formula is still water based so it should come off in the wash like bm.
Is what you're doing not getting them clean?
Honestly, I started scooping out the worst of it as soon as it got like that. I wasn't sure, and didn't want to mess everything up. But that's obviously getting really old really fast, so it occurred to me to ask you ladies whether I need to or not. Glad the answer is no!
Thanks for your help, everyone! I don't know how I would CD without you all!
