How often do you give your LO a bath? I wipe DD's hands and face every day when she gets dressed, but we only a do a full-on bath once a week. She has eczema and the doctor told us to limit baths and not use soap/body washes, except on her hair. Since she is just sitting in water, I feel like the bath is more just for her play and getting her used to the idea of bathing. I'm curious about how often other babies are soaking in the tub!

Re: Baths, how often?
Like swimiz, usually every other day, or DD's hair gets greasy. She also has eczema, and pedi suggested fewer baths and shampoo only. We tried that dir awhile, along with calendula cream, but neither seemed to work. Something we've found to work REALLY well is the Aveeno eczema lotion. It has worked wonders in her skin!
I love your daughters name. It was my dream name for a little girl since I was 18. My husband vetoed... because he's an idiot. :-) really beautiful.
Once/twice a week. We do wipe downs but she doesn't get dirty, she doesn't have hair and she has drys kin so im trying to combat that.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I used to bathe DD twice a week and only wash her hair one of those times. I started bathing her more frequently when her bum was getting more rashy than I would have liked, and it seemed to help. Now she gets a bath every other day, and I just go ahead and wash her hair every time since she loves to lay down in the water while I do it.
FYI for all the eczema moms - I did a 4-week clinical rotation in an allergist's office, and they recommended something different for treatment. They have their eczema patients take a bath every day, or even up to several times a day if the parents have time. Soak for at least 10 minutes, trying to keep all of the affected areas under water if possible. Doesn't matter if you put soap in the water or not. Pat dry after getting out, then cover affected areas with a thick, white, unscented cream. They recommended Aquaphor, Eucerin, CeraVe, or Vanicream. These are all, as I said, white, unscented, and thick enough that they need to come in a jar instead of a tube. They had VERY good success with this method in some kids who were really severely affected.
