I'm a nanny and the LO I watch has the Nap Nanny Chill. It's pretty cool. It's soft, comfortable, and easy to clean. Baby loves it when watching her cartoons or when I am doing laundry/cleaning she can watch me. She doesn't sleep in it though, so I'm not sure if that's what you are asking about. It is bigger than I thought it would be and bulky to store, which seems to be the only down side to it. Also, you cannot use it on a bed, only on solid surfaces (we just have it in the living room floor) I'd recommend it, but just as a hangout spot.
As far as I know, the older models got recalled because people were idiotic and were leaving them inside of cribs and then leaving their kid unattended while strapped in.

The Nap Nanny was the best thing we ever got! It is worth every penny. We used it from day 1. It is not unsafe in any way. People are just morons. It is definitely a must-have in my book.

Ditto!
Agreed...you can only use it on the floor. Nothing soft or elevated like couches, beds, or tables.
