Aplix and pet hair - will this be a problem?

We have a short haired dog and there is always dog hair on something. It is impossible to keep it out of the washer/dryer. I was planning on starting my stash with aplix. I just see myself getting annoyed with snaps. Will the dog hair plus the aplix be a pain in the rear?

    We've never had a problem with getting dog hair tangled into our aplix. However, G sure does like to put it in her mouth....

    3 cats, 2 dogs, and no problem with hair in the aplix.

    More of an issue with random strings and cottony fluff getting in there. However, you just pick it out and it's good as new.

    Someone said they used their dog brush on it and I thought that was a brilliant idea.
