My son doesn't eat much and I've found that he will drink smoothies. Our blender is terrible (doesn't crush ice, leaks etc). I wanted to get a new blender to make food for the new baby anyway so I'm looking into it now for smoothies but it will also be used frequently for baby food. I'm curious if there's an actual difference between the baby bullet and the magic bullet or if it's just a marketing ploy. It seems like the baby bullet makes smoother purees but is less powerful overall. There also appears to be a size difference in the containers.
Anyone have experience with either one or with the difference between them?
Re: Magic Bullet or Baby Bullet?
My mind was in the gutter till I saw "baby" in the title.
I think getting a good blender would be the best way. It is something you can use long term and for many purposes.
My mom has a Ninja and swears by it. I've had smoothies from it, and they are really good. I've also used a food processor to make smoothies, and I really like that too.
One really cool tip that I learned from Pinterest is that the base that screws onto a regular blender jar (along with the blade and the rubber ring) fit onto a regular Mason jar (not the wide mouth ones), so you can DIY your own Bullet type containers with a regular blender. I've been doing it for smoothies and mixed drinks lately.
