bamboo inserts

Can you use them alone in a pocket? I want to get rid of my MF and I have some hemp but always used them with the MF. 

Any suggestions on what kinds of bamboo insert? WAHM or not. Thanks!

Yes, you can use them alone, or double 2 bamboo if you want to go longer.

I have some Kawaii bamboo ($25 for 10), a couple ecobumz (came with diapers, really similar to kawaii), and some Cow Patties Diapers (she sells inserts for $2 each - they're nice because they're just 2 layers but long so you can fold where you need it, but they dry faster).

yes, but it doesn't absorb quickly, which is why people usually pair it under MF. Some inserts are made with 1 layer MF and 2 layers bamboo, all sewn into one. I don't know any name brands to look for though. Just be careful going all bamboo because you may get leaks if LO "floods".

It really depends on the type of weave more than the type of fiber. I've taken water and dumped it on all my inserts to see what happens - the bamboo I have is just fine. So is the AMP hemp, but the whammies hemp is more of a knit rather than a fleece and it takes longer to soak in.

The Cow Patties are for sure fine to use straight. I've done it.

I have some Applecheeks bamboo inserts and love them. They're all I use for overnight.
