Speaking of loose teeth..

DS fell onto the kitchen floor about a month ago, and split his lip. About 2 weeks later, fell again, and split his lip in the same spot. So his lip was pretty sore, and we checked his tooth that had split his lip. It seemed to be fine.  A few days later, i noticed his front tooth next to the one that split his lip was a little off in color, and was tender I touched it.  made an appointment with the dentst to have xrays done next week, as the dentist is out of town, and it doesn't seem like it really pains him. He might have to have the tooth removed at 3.5 years. AAnyone else have experience with early tooth loss?

Re: Speaking of loose teeth..

  • No, sorry, that's pretty rough. E's bottom two teeth came out on their own just after she turned five, but her permanent teeth were already there. Hopefully they have a solution to keep the space open if the tooth needs to come out, you wouldn't want to lose the spacing unitl his permanent tooth comes in.

Yes, keeping the space in his front teeth in my concern, but I am noticing the tooth looks worse every day, so I will go to my dentist for x-rays.  I will also inquire at a children's dentist, what they may be able to do.
