Bedrest with #2 and a 10 month old!

I am currently just over 32 weeks pregnant and I was put on bedrest until the baby comes. How am I supposed to manage bedrest with a very active 10 month old crawling around and getting into everything? I have my husband home Tuesday-Friday but he works 12 hour days Saturday-Monday. All our family lives out of state. I feel defeated!!!!!

What we did was make the living room as child-proof as possible. We put a gate up so she couldn't get out of the living room. We had a pnp in there for naps or we took naps together on the couch. We just hung out on the floor most of the day playing, reading, having snacks. I was also on bedrest at 32 weeks and my daughter was 9 months old. We had a toy box there and a basket of snacks.

Air mattress on the floor in a very baby-proofed living room? Hired help?

I feel for you!  I was on hospital bed rest and the strict bed rest from 31-37 weeks with DD running around like crazy.  My DH works 12 shifts, every other week.  We ended up asking our out of state family to come and help and put DD in daycare on the days/weeks when we didn't have anyone.  It wasn't easy (especially for my DH) but we made it through!
