changing table

this is may seem like something easy to resolve but i just can't figure out how to clean my changing table, don't want to use harsh chemicals, but the LO just loooovvvvves to peepee when he is being changed, he also poops sometimes in the middle of changing (lucky me!!! lol)... so how do you clean your changing table?????? i already tried showering with it and using a sponge with regular dove soap... smell came back the next day :(... any input will be greatly appreciated

Re: changing table

  • I usually stick a clean diaper under dd before I take the dirty one off. I also have a few cloth changing table pad covers so I can just throw them in the wash if they get messy. I usually wipe the table itself with baby wipes or soap and water.

  • Similar to PP, I always put down a receiving blanket on the table so that can be washed.

  • BRU sells disposable changing pads. I leave one on the mat at all times and just change it when he messes it. They are also good to keep in your diaper bag or car.
  • I LOVE my boppy changing pad liner (12.99 for 3). It's pretty waterproof and protects my changing pad cover

  • We have a water proof pad a friend made us so when my LO goes on the mat I can just pull it off and throw it in the wash.  I highly recommend it since usually it can throw you in a frenzy when the LO goes on the pad.  This way there is no scrabbing you just pull it off and throw it in the wash and the mess is delt with.

This! Also you could try a solution of vinegar and lemon juice and let it dry in the sun:)
