Are Lucas and Silas too matchy-matchy?

LO#1 is named Lucas and LO#2 (team green) is due in two weeks.  DH and I both like the name Silas, but I suspect it is to matchy-matchy.  Thoughts?

The problem is that neither of us have many boys names on our list of names that we like.

Does your son only go by Lucas?  Because if he does, I think its a little matchy for me.

IMO, yes. But I do love both of those names.

My brother's sons are Lucas and Marcus which is slightly worse but still not a huge deal and mostly go by Luke and Mark, if your DS goes by Luke a lot then it really is not big deal. If its the only name you both love, go for it.

I think it's fine. It wouldn't be a problem at all if your son happens to go by Luke. But even if he goes by Lucas, I don't think they're too close.

I voted yes.  DS2 has a name that ends in -s so we took all the other -s ending names off the list for #3.

I don't think they're too matchy matchy. I LOVE Silas, I'm a big fan of the show Weeds!
