Please recommend carrier for MIL

She is looking to buy a carrier for when Lo arrives . She asked me to recommend one but I know nothing about carriers !!!O_o.  My MIL is into things that are simple and easy , doesn't mind investing a little more on a good carrier but would prefer not to blow an outrageous amount on something she will only use every so often, and is looking for something that will be super comfy for LO too . :-) please help! I would like to help her make a well informed decision but I don't even know where to start!!!
