As you guys have seen my recent posts about Caremark and them f'ing up my med shippement. Well it gets even better... I signed the UPS slip for my meds to be left at my door. I just got home to another slip apparently you have to be home to sign for them they won't leave them even with a signed slip. UPS is now closed. I might be able to go pick them up 45 mins away IF I get a phone call back from UPS. Mind you we are in the middle of a F'N snow storm here in the NE. I am so mad I am going to cry... This stress is just too much. I can't handle this type of stress.
Re: I am so mad right now I want to cry...
Oh honey - I am so very sorry. I feel your pain.
This really sucks, but maybe I can offer you a giggle. On my first medicated IUI cycle, the day I am supposed to give myself the trigger, my RE calls to say my donor sperm was not delivered. After 4 hours on the phone with California Cryobank and FedEx, it was determined that my sperm was sitting in an airplane hangar 60 miles away. It's a Friday and they cannot redeliver until Monday. By then I will have already ovulated and the sperm will have gone bad. I could go pick it up, but they closed in just over an hour. I quickly jammed the needle in my stomach to give the trigger (no time to even think about the needle) and jumped in the car to race to the other side of Fort Worth. I make it with 5 minutes to spare because I have to go through crazy airport security at the freight hangars. The security guard was nice enough to carry the nitrogen tank to my car for me and buckle it in the front seat. If you have never seen one before, they look like SCUBA tanks. I drove back to Dallas with this large tank in my front seat - where it spent the night and then Saturday morning, I drug it through the hospital to my REs office for my IUI.
It's funny now, but not so much at the time. I wish I had a recording of the call with FedEx. It must have been hilarious me trying to explain to them why I had to have that package TODAY!!!
I'm sorry you are having shipping trouble. I hope it gets sorted out!

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
