Gardening Questions - Grass clippings in veggie patch

The mowers came today and mowed around my raised bed. There is a nice smattering of grass clippings in my bed now. Is this bad for my garden?

It's no big deal in moderation, but the process of decomposition can actually leach nitrogen from the soil if you cover it in lots of green stuff. That's why mulches and composts are dried/aged.
