Too hot for PUL?

I need to strip again and I've decided to try the bath tub method. If I soak Simplex 2.0's for hours in BacOut and almost boiling water, will that ruin the PUL? Also, I was told to try a wet pail because of our ammonia build-up issues, won't that ruin our elastic and PUL?

Most diaper companies will tell you to stay away from boiling water since it can damage the PUL. I know multiple people who have ruined their PUL because they used water that was too hot.
As for a wet pail, they are really not recommended for a multitude of reasons; I wouldn't use one.
