strange rash

Hello Ladies!

 I don't post very often and before I asked I am not looking for medical advice I have a doc appt at 3 today but I am curious if any of you ladies have gotten a strange rash anywhere during your pregnancy?  I started 3 days ago with this strange rash on my bottom and a little bit on my face!  its very annoying!  just curious if anyone had this problems before?

Yes! With my first pregnancy I got a weird rash on my upper arm of tiny little bumps, it looked like a bunch of pimples... and they stayed post-pregnancy (you can still kind of see dark spots where they were on my arm). A couple of my girlfriends got something similar during their pregnancies.

I got one on my back at about 16 weeks and of course I got it the day after my doctors appt.  I called and they said it was nothing to worry about.  When I went in at 20 wks it was pretty much gone and they said it looked like excema (spelling?).  They said it's normal for you to have skin changes during pregnancy, just another one of the pleasant side effects:)

I haven't experienced this personally, but in "What to Expect" it talks about skin changes and the "mask of pregnancy" that some women get.

well my doctor said shes not sure what it is!  she gave me a cream and said it should stop it from spreading more and stop the itch and that I could possibly have it until I deliver! ugh!  I am hoping this cream works! its driving me crazy!! thank you for all your help!
