Late Term and Child Loss

I knew it!

I just knew Jennifer Garner was having a boy after having 2 girls.  That should be my family.  :(  At least they game him a name I don't like and would not work with our last name.  :)

Yesterday at the library I saw a big sister holding her younger sister and baby brother's hands as they went to sit down for storytime.  It made my heart hurt.

I will never understand why some people get to keep their baby boys when mine couldn't stay with us.  :(

I am doing ok, though.  Embracing my family of 4 and my sweet little girls. Yesterday, my youngest said she didn't want to be 2, she wanted to be 6.  I told her I wasn't ready for her to be 6.  But as soon as I said it, I thought of her at 6 and I was excited-not sad that she was growing up, excited to see who she will be then and the fun things we will do.

So, all in all, life is good for me.  Hoping the same for all of you.  Hugs and love

Momma to 2 sweet girls here on earth and a precious baby boy in heaven

Re: I knew it!

  • *hugs*  I get this.  I always said and hoped for a boy before a girl even as a child because I wanted my *potential* daughter to have an older brother.  I'm the oldest of 4 girls and always daydreamed about having a big brother to protect me while I protected my sisters.  Well, technically I got my boy first...but he won't be here to "protect" his baby sister in the way I   hoped for.
