What can I do?

I have a friend who's baby is in the NICU. He was born just shy of 28 weeks. She also has a little one at home. We do not live very close to them, so I am not sure that we can bring them anything. Is there something that I could send to them that would help?

Is a dinner really the best way to help them?

I know that since you're not local some of those will not be doable.  Here are some other ideas:

~ buy her a hands free pumping bra if she's pumping BM for LO

~ send a gift basket with snacks, bottled water, etc to have on hand at the NICU

~ purchase a gift card to restaurants in the area

~ can you buy a pre-paid parking pass for the hospital?

is there a "let's dish" in her area?  if you order dish and dash (i think that is what it is called) they make up the frozen meals and all they have to do is pick them up.  Then she has meals to make whenever she is home and available and doesn't have to put any thought into it.
