what do they do at the routine OB appointments?

This is my second appointment, the first I got my GYN check up and blood drawn and a zillion questions.

You PIAC (pee in a cup) so they can check for proteins, they weigh you and check your BP and they will either use the doppler to hear the HB or give you a U/S depending on your OB.

My OB was awesome and gave me a U/S every time I asked for one (yay!)

Unless you have any issues that's about all that happens until you go back in a month. Then when you reach third tri it's every two weeks, then after 36 weeks it's every week.

Mine does an ultrasound every visit. I get weighed, urine checked, BP checked, baby's HB checked and they ask how I'm doing.

I get weighed, BP checked, pee in a cup to check for protein and sugars, doppler to check baby's HB, and then I meet with the doctor to go over anything I need to schedule that'd be coming up and any questions I have.  (I always come with a list of questions!)

sounds good. I havent done this in 5 years -- i have forgotten and I am so used to the dildo cam -- i seriously was all ready for it the last time.

I am so hoping they do an ultrasound -- they just have the portable one -- we used it last time because they couldnt find the heartbeat - I think I will ask! I want to see how much he or she has grown.

I cant lie, though, I am nervous as he.ll. I am just so anxious.
