Is this a good price for Lightroom 3?

I don't know much about editing my pictures and my current camera I spent way too much $$ on is a piece of crap but I would like to get on the editing bandwagon eventually. I use my MIL's Nikon D7000 thank takes amazing pictures already. I plan on taking some photography classes at ACC. ANYWAYS... should I buy Lightroom 3 for 89.99?

Can you buy it for me? Kidding Yes, that's a good price for it! I think they're coming out with LR 4 soon, which is probably why LR 3 is on sale. I paid $250 for LR 2 when I bought it.

Even if you never take the photography classes, LR is wonderful for just organizing photos.

I'm still using LR2...there are a lot of neat features in the later editions, but not enough for me personally to justify spending the money on it. If you're planning to use it for just basic photo editing and organizing, I'd save the money and buy LR3 on sale.

From the comments I read it seems to be cheaper to buy 3 now and you could upgrade to 4 if you want for 100 where as LR 4 will be 299 I think.

That's a great price. I love LR3. V4 will come out in March or April, but will be much higher of a price, and from what I hear won't have that many noticeable differences. You can download a free trial of V4 from Adobe right now.
