    Sorry, not a quick reader, so no help there, but...

    Look into services at your public library.  Where I'm at, if you have a library account, you can download books from an online service to your Kindle for a period of time free of charge!  Call them and ask!

    I agree check out the library. I was having a hard time lending/borrowing books with other people, because most of the books I was interested in were not able to be lent to others, so I turned to the library.  I had to put my name on a bunch of wait lists at first, but once they started coming in I've had a steady stream of free books.
