Is it too much/ are they too close? Does the -LINE vs. -LYNN ending make a difference on your opinion (like maybe Made-LYNN is too close, but not Made-LINE?)

Madeleine is pronounced "Mad-eh-lehn" not "line" or "lynn". I don't think they are that close if you use the full names....but Nattie and Maddie are too close for me. Natalie would probably get away with being Natalie but Madeleine would get called Maddie (trust me, I'm a Jennifer who is constantly telling people NOT to call me Jen) - and Natalie and Maddie sounds so close.
