splitting up?

when u & babys dad split up.. did you take your child untill you went to court?? how does it work??

    The first time, we were together, but lived apart. He saw DD a few times a week until we went to court, then got mad he had to pay CS and didn't see her for 6 years.  This time, we broke up while I was pregnant.  In Texas, the mom has sole custody (legal and physical) from birth. So, yes.

    And, um....there's no way in HADES I'd leave a man and not take my children.
