Helmets - specifically STARband

Hello,

We have just made the decision to order a STARband through our orthotist for DS due to his plagiocephaly and torticollis. After 2 months of stretches, repositioning, and working with a physical therapist we have decided that it's best for DS to get into a helmet to correct it while he's still young.

That being said, has anyone else been through this? And how has it went, both for you and LO? I guess I'm wondering what to expect or if it's difficult to do. Also any insight into how long and how well it worked for you would be great!!

Our son is in the moderate to severe category and the flattening is only on the right posterior side.
