Parenting/child development books and resources for 1yo and up?

Last night I had a question about DS's recent behavior and I went to look at my two go-to books for all things baby-related and realized that they only go up to 12 months!  One was the AAP's guide to baby's first year, and the other was what to expect the first year. 

Do you all have books or sites you'd recommend for parenting questions or child development/behavior questions? 

I'm wondering things like how we should be handling DS's temper at this age - he has started to really fight putting on PJs before bed, etc. and really objecting to things he doesn't want to do and I feel like we have no idea how to respond.  

Also DS used to be a fantastic eater but lately he's gotten pickier (only wanting fruit or veggies instead of any meats for example) and angrily throwing anything he doesn't want off his tray or giving his food to the dog. 

You ladies are awesome for advice, but I don't think you want to answer every single one of my questions

there is "What to Expect: the Toddler years"

his behavior is very normal, many kids become very picky eaters after their 1st b-day.

I also just noticed that the guy who wrote Happiest Baby on the Block now has a toddler version - Happiest Toddler on the Block...  I know the baby book was good, but not sure about the toddler one!

I used to call this book my "bible."  We use it less and less now, because I usually end up calling the advice nurse at my pedi office.

We got Toddler 411 and What to Expect the Toddler Years (or 12-24 months - I can't remember which one it is).

They are very helpful!
