Bumgenius or Fuzzibunz? How many?

I think we are ready to buy a stash of one size diapers for DD. She is now 10 lbs at a month. I have tried her in Bumgenius 4.0s, Fuzzibunz and both seem to fit well. I'm leaning toward BG for the suede cloth and lack of pilling. I haven't tried any elementals. I'm not sure if I should get some of them as well? I'd love some feedback, also on how many I should buy if I only want to wash every 2-3 days.

It's a matter of personal preference. Get whatever you & your baby like. If you prefer one to the other, but they both do great...then just pick what YOU like. Happy mommy = happy baby.

I would say you should buy anywhere from 24-36.

You also don't have to get just one or the other, you could get half of each or whatever.  I have three main diapers in my OS stash, and 6 types in my NB stash.  And I am a little ocd about everything matching so that was an effort for me to get there   I would get 36 if you might occasionally go three days between washes, 24 would be good for EOD washing.

I just recently bought a couple Elementals.  I like them but am waiting until Cotton Babies has another seconds sale to buy more ($17 instead of $24.95).  Hopefully it's soon!

I would get the bumgenius over the fuzzibunz MAINLY because I hated messing with the stupid elastic in the fuzzibunz.  With the BG you snap three snaps and sizing is over.
