I was looking at Gap Kids and curious what the Tween collection was so I clicked on it, ths just is not what any of the tweens I know would wear, am I totally out of it or are they totally out of touch.
Honestly, I'd have my girl wearing this as a tween! I love all of these pieces... I seriously hope that our baby on the way is a girl so I can have a girly girl
What about it seems out of touch? DD is still very much a jeans and tshirt girl but the layering stuff, tanks, hoodies, and the scarves are definitely something she wears.

It just seems so grown up compared to the few tweens I know. I do not mean grown up in a bad way, it is nice but like icanhardlywait said, most of the kids I know this age are more into Aero type clothes, jeans and t-shirts that have writing or designs on it. But then again I don't know many kids this age and the few I know are very casual and this would seem "fancy" to them.
Jen - Mom to two December 12 babies
Nathaniel 12/12/06 and Addison 12/12/08
As a parent, I'd love to have my daughter wearing some of the better pieces, but I just don't see too many girls dressing like this for their everyday wear.
Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.

I love some of those pieces but I think most tweens are into aeropostale, American Eagle, 77 those kinds of places...

Those are adorable! I am pretty sure my niece who is a tween would totally wear that.
It's way better than the majority of peace symbol crap that is everywhere.
That's true! Some if it is too dressy for DD. She's not a fan of button downs or too much lace.
That link didn't lead anywhere for me, but is this what you're talking about?

If so, I agree.
