Happy Due Date! But no signs of arrival...

Today is my due date!  I didn't think it would EVER get here!  I swear when other people are pregnant it seems like it goes SO much faster!  Even so, I haven't had much progression - at my appt on Friday I was still only 1 cm and baby was kind of sideways, her face in my hip.  I've been scheduled for Cytotec on Wednesday if she doesn't make her appearance before then (though I have to say, I don't want her to come on leap day!). 

I thought maybe last night was the start of things, I'd been having period-like cramps for a couple weeks now, but last night they were stronger than they'd been and timeable.  But then I went to bed and woke up and nothing!  I have an abnormal fear that last night was my window of opportunity, and I missed it and now she's never coming out! lol 

Right now I just feel uncomfortable - it just kind of hurts like there is a foreign object in there - oh yeah, there just happens to be an 8lb 3oz baby in there!  I've been bouncing on an exercise ball, walking, etc.  Having a lot of movement, but none that seem like "Mom, I'm coming out!"  Hopefully soon, I don't really want a leap day baby, and on March 1 my insurance changes and I'm dreading that hassle.  I feel like all the February mamas have babies already!  Hope mine gets here soon!  Good luck to everyone!

happy due date!!  today is my due date also & i have been @ 4 cm 90% effaced for about 2 weeks.  still not sign of baby coming.    you are not alone, i am scheduled to go in for an induction on wednesday, i have had high blood pressure the last couple of weeks & a history of big babies so they asked if i wanted to be induced & i accepted.    i don't mind having a leap year baby.   soon you will get to meet your lo & all this craziness will have definately been worth it!
