...because our beautiful baby BOY Charlie is here! He arrived one day early, February 22, 2012 at 3:23 in the afternoon.

It wasn't the *easiest* birth, but I would certainly do it again! Active labour for almost 24 hours and then a c-section. Most things were running really well until I got to about 6cm...my water never broke, they had to break it. Mr.Charlie's head was no fully engaged and actually tilted just slightly. The docs hoped by breaking my water he would get where he needs to be, but he never did. So, in for a C-section I went. I was always okay with having a c-section, but was definitely overcome with emotions when we had to have one. The recovery has been going quite well, obviously still sore at my incision, but loving life with my new little man.

Yay for boys! Congrats and make sure you get plenty of rest! I am about to week 4 of recovering from my c/s and I have to slow myself down so that I don't over do it.
