I just bought today's living social deal - $56 for 4-hours of babysitting.

Doesn't seem like too bad of a deal... since it works out to $14/hour, plus gives access to the service here and other places around the country.  Using the service seems like kind of a pain after the initial period (they tack on a $25/per instance service fee) - but, since I don't have a reliable "go-to" babysitter, it seems like it will work for times when my sister or a friend can't watch DD, and we *really* want to go to an event, or are on vacation.  I talked to the owner on the phone, and he seemed like a nice guy, so I bought it.
