recommend your baby memory book/scrap book

Anyone picked out a memory book/record book/scrap book for their baby yet? It just occurred to me that many of them start with the baby shower, so I should get on this. Have you found one you like yet, and where did you get it? I'm not even sure where to look for them...

I will be starting one here shortly... we have a place here in town its call Archivers. Its a full store basically devoted to scrapbooking... I will be going there... can you google stores that would be in your area?

I got mine at BRU. It was one of the few that they have that is notebook that opens so you can add additional pages and other items.

With DD#1 we just did a baby book. I went to Chapters and got the Anne Geddes one. I love it. It is a really pretty book.  I find that I can be bad for keeping up on writing things down, or doing actually scrapbooking. So this book is perfect. It has all the important things you would want to remember.

They put out a new one every year so I will go in to buy a new on for this baby.

I bought this one for DD#1- it's a little pricey, but I really liked the design we got and the colors of the pages. We'll be picking out one for DD#2 soon!

I bought LO the boy verison one from Target. It's a Carter's version.

DS had the same brand, but in monkey and I like his baby book a lot.

It starts out when I felt him move, when I found out, when SO felt him move, when we found out the gender, etc.

I have this one for DD and will get another for DD2. I really like it. It has fill-in-the-blanks, spots for pictures and a page for each month 0-12 where you add height/weight stats, a pic and milestones. It has pages for holidays, vacations, shower, 1st birthday, etc. the graphics are gender-neutral and cute. It comes in a box with a drawer where you can store keepsakes. It also comes with little envelopes and labels to store ultrasound pics, hospital bracelets, hair clippings, etc. I think it's well worth the money. HTH

This makes me want to go back and read old posts to see how my priorities have changed!
I didn't do a baby book, but I didn't plan to do one. I kept a simple calendar and I write DD a very short letter each month describing her milestones and any big events.

This thread got me but like born mommy I never even scrapped my wedding and I'm a scrapbooker or at least I was. I did most of a smash book but now I'm totally into shutterfly books, much easier and I can give them as gifts to grandparents.
