Hello all just wanted to introduce myself, as i now will be joining you all.  DH and I lost the love of our lives on 2/13/2012, he would have been 6 months on Thursday.  As of right now it's looking like SIDS, the autopsy did not show anything, but the blood and cultures won't be back for another 2-4 weeks yet.  I dropped my baby off at daycare 2 weeks ago today and he snuggled me more than usual, at 10am i received a call and my heart instantly shattered.  Wendy (the daycare provider, whom I loved) called in panic to say that she had put Easton down for a nap at 9am, checked on him twice and went back in at 10am to check on him.  She found him on his belly, blue.  He rolled often, but never ever while he was sleeping. She attempted to do CPR, called EMS and the rest is history.  The ER doctor said they did everything they could do to save him, but unfortunately it didn't work.  My life has been nothing but a nightmare since that moment, but I?m trying to stay optimistic.  He was the happiest, smiliest baby, the absolute love of my life.  I always said losing a child would be the absolute worst thing, now I?m living the nightmare along with the rest of you.  I look forward to getting to know you all!

He is such a cutie!  I'm so, so sorry for you loss.  My DH and I lost our son at 5 weeks and 1 day old.  He would be 4 months old tomorrow.  We put him down to bed for the night and realized we hadn't heard a sound out of a normally noisy sleeper.  I was awoken to my worst nightmare of my DH yelling "Corbin's not breathing".  We watched as the tried to bring him back but it didn't work.  This coming Saturday will mark 3 months since he became an angel. It took almost 6 weeks to get the autopsy back but when it did the cause of death was bronchitis, bronchiolitis and trachitis.  He was just as the pediatrician for a wellness check 2 days earlier and was fine.  It was a super virus. I hate you have to welcome you here but know we're all here for you and offer comfort and support.  Be gentle on yourself as you begin this process.  We're all here for you if you ever need to talk.  {{HUGS}}

I am so incredibly sad for your loss.  I lost my Kamryn at 19 months.  She drowned in the tub while I was at work.  I well remember that call and the agonising trip to the hospital. 

This is a life I wouldn't wish on anyone and I am so so sorry.  I hope we can help you through this aweful time.  Anything you need just ask.
