I am DYING at the thought of no more DA until 2013!  That's cruel!  Hopefully the Brits will be good and decide to share with us early.  

I loved, loved, loved the ending - I was so happy to see M & M finally come together.  I hope it lasts and we won't be dragged through another season of drama with those two.  Syblil's news was exciting - do we think they'll come back from Ireland to raise the baby?

I'm really excited about Cora's American mom playing a role next season, should be interesting.

Has anyone read the book the series was inspired by?  Below Stairs?  I'm thinking about reading it to get me through the sad and lonely months until the show returns.

You're right - it'll be on in the UK in September.  But if you're willing to watch online, I'm sure we'll be able to get episodes as they air instead of waiting until next year.  That's my plan, at least.

There might be something to that. Downton Abbey gained a lot more US popularity for season 2, so that might convince ITV and PBS to pull in the schedule a little. It took several years, but the BBCA finally began airing Doctor Who on the same day that it aired in the UK because of the popularity boost in the US.
