Anyone use these? I just bought a small pack while I'm waiting for my next Amazon Mom shipment, and I don't know what I think about them yet. I like that I could pull them up while he was standing (leaning on me) so he didn't try to roll everywhere, but then I still had to lay him down to put his clothes back on and that kind of defeated the purpose. I feel like I'm missing something...
Re: Huggies Pull-Up Diapers
I bought them on accident one time and I hated them. The regular Huggies are very good at containing everything, but every single time we have used a pull-up it has leaked and I have to change his outfit because there's pee all over it.
Sorry I'm no help with logistics - I just don't like them and don't know if we will use the Huggies pull-up brand in the future.
You're totally right - I called them the wrong thing. These are Huggies "Slip On" not "Pull Ups." They're the new-ish diapers that have the commercial with all the little babies rolling/scooting all over the place.
JayElle - They do tear apart at the sides, so they're easy to remove. I just don't think they're that easy to get on in the first place!
Oh well that's neat. However, you are right.. you still have to lay baby back down to put the clothes on.
I know I'm going "over the top" with this, but the whole premiss o the "slip on" is that your baby won't sit still for you to change a diaper so you can just "slip on" and go. IMO if you can't get your baby to sit still for a diaper change, you have bigger issues on your hands. I wouldn't want my child to get used to moving while I change a diaper, what happens when they poop? or even worse have diarrhea?! I don't want LO crawling around while I chase him to clean his bottom!
Maybe it's good for warmer climates where they will just wear the slip on and a t shirt?
I have to force Avery down for every diaper change. She is trying to sit up during every second. Granted.. she is nowhere near like those commercials! However, she is still a huge PITA! I tell her no and hold her down.
