Our baby boys name

So after playing around with several names that meant a lot to us we have decided on Henry Robert as our baby's name. But now that we are telling family the name we picked they are giving us some strange alternatives they want us to consider. Like Milton does that seem weird to any one else because to me it seems quite out of date.

Yea....I just think of Office Space lol. Not a fan of Milton. Don't let anyone change your mind...Henry Robert is a GREAT name! If anyone offers a suggestion, just say, "Thank you for the thought, but we've already decided."

Milton is definitely out of date, but to me Henry Robert is too..it's nice, but not really my style

Tell everyone to stick it. I feel like if someone told me they had decided on their kid's name I would no longer think it was appropriate to offer suggestions, except under very specific circumstances. Henry Robert is great. Milton, not so much.

My FIL's name is Milton. Most people call him Mickey. I'm not a fan, but I don't think it's awful.

I love Henry!  It's adorable.  Milton, however... not so much.  Ignore their advice.  You and your husband picked a great name.

I think Henry Robert is a nice strong name for a boy. Don't let other opinions sway you.

I don't hate Milton - it was my grandpa's name & he went by Milt but I think Henry Robert is a winner. The MN is a little "safe" IMO with the name Henry but I supposed I'd rather be safe than... sorry when naming a baby that will have to live with it his whole life! Congratulations!
