implanon question

Has anyone used implanon and would you recommend it? I am leaning more towards it than any other, but want to hear what others experience was with it. Thanks in advance.

I'm getting mine next week. I have no experience with it but my doctor talked to me about it vs mirena and it sounds like there's a lot less risks with the implanon.
