Scheduled the vasectomy for DH and we are excited.  Im happy and our family is complete.  We talked at length about this and its the best option for us.  Anyone else resorting to permanent birth control?

We are almost at this decision. We are thinking of waiting until 6 weeks post partum to make final decision but DH and I are really getting serious about vasectomy.

We're done! Of we still feel done when DD is a year old then DH will get a vasectomy.

We are going to wait 5 years.  If something were to happen to one of my kids we'd have another one - I know it's morbid but its something I think about.

I don't think it's morbid, I think of that too when deciding what will be right for our family after we have our second. I don't want DH to get a vasectomy. If something happens, I want to keep the door open. I'll probably get an iud instead until we are in our 40's.

I'm done!! DH still wants to wait a few years before doing anything permanent. I keep telling him he's going to need to knock up someone else, lol. I'm not a fan of being pregnant if you can't tell!!

I am done.  I still would have liked to have more kids but it isn't physically possible.  This last pregnancy did a toll on me and my heart.  I already have heart issues and had a bad pregnancy, delivery, and recovery with DD1 and it is playing out the same with DD2.  Instead of risking my health and or life with having another baby I got my tubes tied when I had my c section with DD2.

We think we might be done but aren't 100% sure.  So I am going to get an IUD and we will go from there.
