Well that appointment was a huge let down

I had my first follie check for my hail mary IUI and there is not much going on in there.  For IUI #3 after the same number of days and same amount of meds, I had two 14 and two 12s.  Today the largest was a 10 on my left side (which is usually my less active ovary.)  My lining was already 8.5 which I guess is good.  She said rarely does it get too thick but she would have thought with lining that thick there would have been a few bigger.

I have to admit I am pretty shocked. One thing I have always had going for me was that I am a good responder.

Anyhow, I am doubling up on my Gonal - F and go back Tuesday.  Lets hope my ovaries kick into gear.  I might need more meds after all

I was always a good responder.  Then for Ivf 2, I had an e2 of only 92 after 7 nites of Stims.  I lost my $hit.  Sometimes our bodies just have a mind of their own.  Hope ur body kicks into high gear!

Sorry about needing more meds, but maybe slow and steady wins the race this time! Different can be good. Hoping you have some great follies at your next appt!

Thanks ladies, I know it is not too big of deal because I was on a low dose but it was a shock.  I guess it has been 19 months since I have used a FSH but I didn't think things would change by much.

She said it could have to do with having just a FET cycle too where they keep your ovaries pretty suppressed.   Who knows...I just hope Tuesday things look more promising!

As you can see in my siggy, I have had a crapload of IUIs, six of which were on the same dosage of the same meds. All of my cycles were almost identical except for the last one, and I have always been considered a good responder. For IUI #9, I had a very slow burn starting with two tiny follies, then I suddenly had five! Sometimes I think your body just likes to throw you for a loop...
