they have the roku 2 xs at cost co for $89.99, which includes 2 free months of hulu plus. pretty impressive little box so far. i love some of the apps they offer, like vimeo so i can view the HD vids i uploaded on our nice flat screen.
we still have quite a few shows to clear off our old dvr before we cut the cord and send att their box back. but i think i'll handle no cable a lot better than i thought.

i was without cable from 2003-2006, and what i didn't have, i didn't miss. the extra $80-100/month will feel pretty good too.
so there's a free ESPN thing on the roku newscaster. looks like these are news clips, podcasts or audio of certain programs. i haven't found a definitive program guide for these channels yet, but i think it's just a matter of time. https://www.rokuguide.com/channels/roku-newscaster
for news, there are both a CNBC and NBC news channels. under roku newscaster is CNN and the other major networks news programs. don't forget that you can still access your over-the-air network channels, so if you're able to rig up a DVR function with a computer, you could record stuff from over an antennae to watch anytime you want.
