So my sense of smell is so much stronger when I'm pg, which is saying a lot since I have a very strong sense of smell regularly.

I feel like I smell more. I feel like I need to change my underwear more often and shower more than usual. Am I the only one?

EDIT: When I say I smell more. I don't mean that I can smell other things more, I mean I feel like I personally stink.

I completely agree! I've changed my soaps and deodorant even but I think it's just us! I've been told lately that I smell like dry cleaning whatever that means.

No I smell everything. Its actually really annoying.

I think that has to do with your sense of smell and with the fact that you sweat more...or I have been anyway!

I feel that my pee REEKS! Eww! I can hardly stand the smell when I'm leaning over to flush!

& I think my panties smell like ammonia or something... even right after a bath/shower. Weird.

Same here it's gross, DH has not said anything about it. I think its just us.

Exactly this! However DH said he hasn't noticed anything different, however he may just trying to be nice!

I remember this from my pregnancy with DD, too. It gets way worse in the summer... that's when we will all have swamp crotch

LOL! I am the same way. I am constantly putting on more deodorant or body spray and dont get me started on bathroom smells. I cant handle it! I also dont do dishes or touch the garbage anymore because everything seems so overwhelming and gross. Thank goodness my DH handles all that without question!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels stinky.  I keep telling DH get off of me, I smell like armpit and asss ; I need a shower. To which he replies "no! you smell great" and continues humping my leg. lol

OMG - summer, thanks for the reminder. So glad I'm not the only one though. I don't think DH really notices it. Though my pee is for sure stronger, there was one day last week when I was sick, really sick, and couldn't take a shower and he looked at me and said, 'you smell like pee'. I said, 'I smell like many gross things right now, deal with it'.

I actually asked the Dr about this because it was driving me that crazy. Especially the underwear thing. I thought I had an infection or something wrong with me. She said that it was a mixture of my stronger sense of smell and the PH change going on in my nether regions. I hate it. My husband keeps saying he can't smell anything bad and to relax, but its really difficult.

I am def over the whole being able to smell everything all the time... working in a nursing home is a bad idea :S

I busted out laughing reading these posts at work... I feel everyones pain... I'm actually planning on stocking up on some 100% cotton panties so I can change them a couple times a day cause I'm REAL paranoid about smell, especially down there... And going to stock up on feminine wipes for during the day... Oh I just can't WAIT for summer - NOT, LOL.
